Heidi's first day back on Nugget

Today is the first day that my daughter has got back on her pony 'Nugget' after losing confidence with him 47 days ago. We had help from a girl she knows from another riding school. It was pouring with rain, and some road-works had turned up right outside. But she still got on, and rode for 20 minutes in walk. Very proud of her, as I know just how scary it can be to get back on a horse after being chucked (yes, Im afraid this is his very bad habit). It was just in walk, but in the pouring freezing rain, with gas guns going off, roadworks, and she has a sore throat. So all in all, a day to be marked down, and hopefully one of many more!
